About the Event
Our group will view a short film about Staff Nurse Mary ‘Marjorie’ Marr’s autograph book. Sr Marr whilst working in Sydney, captured the surprising and heartfelt poetry and musings of soldiers who returned to Australia to recover from the trauma of Gallipoli.
The performance runs for around 25 minutes, followed by a Guided Tour of around 35 minutes, which will (where possible) include the 11am Service of Remembrance in the Hall of Memory.
A light morning tea - ANZAC buscuits, naturally - will be served and included in the $15 tour cost.
We will lunch somewhere close by at the completion of the tour.
