About the Event

The historic motor launch Harman will cruise the lower Lane Cover River to view the Jacarandas in bloom, pass Northwood Bay, a favorite subject of Lloyd Rees paintings, see Mary Reiby's Figree house still standing on the bank of the river, visit Woolwich.

Cruise starts and ends at the Australian National Maritime Museum wharf. You need to arrive at Pyrmont before 9.45 and be waiting at the Two Anchors in the paved area outside the museum main doors. Group will leave at 9.45 with guide.

Leave Riverwood Station at 0818 by train, transfer to light rails at Central and arrive at Pyrmont Bay at 0912. Also leave Mortdale Station at 0827 by train, transfer to light rail at Central and arrive at Pyrmont Bay at 0912 . You can also walk from Town Hall if preferred.

Please note 

1. There is no toilet on board

2. There will be walking on ramps, stairs, wharves, pontoons and boats. You must be of average level of fitness and mobility

3. There is no access for wheelchairs or walkers

4. Sturdy covered footwear must be worn.

5. Bring a light wind jacket, sun hat or rain wear

6. Bring your own water bottle

Lunch will be booked at the Pyrmont Bridge Hotel  at 12.30.

 Please indicate when booking if you will be coming to lunch.
