About the Event
Due to insufficient numbers, the ship for this trip has been changed to the Lady Hopetoun. There is a limit of 27 people. There is a bathroom on the Lady Hopetoun and all other details will remain the same apart from the pickup place which is still in the same area just a different pontoon.
You will be departing from the Elizabeth Macarthur Public Pontoon which is still in the Pirrama Park but in the Johnstons Bay area.
A leisurely BYO lunch aboard an historic steamer, while you cruise the waters of Sydney Harbour. What could be better? Bring along a picnic lunch and beverages of your choice and board the Lady Hopetoun while you discover interesting places and learn about their history. Or just sit back and enjoy the ever-changing views of Sydney Harbour on this two and a half hour cruise.
Cruise leaves from the Elizabetrh Macarthur Public Pontoon Pirrama Park - how to get there:
- Walk from Town Hall station across the historic Pyrmont Bridge (15 min), then walk to Pirrama Park (11 min)
- Pyrmont Bay ferry from Wharf 5 at Circular Quay. Alight at Pyrmont Bay, walk to Pirrama Park (11 min)
- Light Rail from Central Station. Alight at Star Casino, then walk to Pirrama Park (6 min)
- Jones Bay Wharf Car Park, 17-23 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont and a 5 min walk to Elizabeth Macarthur Public Pontoon
Check in at 11:30 for boarding at 11:45. for PROMPT departure at 1200 noon
1. Smoking is prohibited anywhere on board any of our heritage vessels. 2. Sharp-heeled shoes and/or stilettos are not permitted on board our heritage vessels and guests will be asked to remove them before boarding. 3. Please note that due to the heritage nature of all our heritage vessels, they are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Access to toilets is by stairs to lower deck. 4. Sydney Heritage Fleet accepts no responsibility for passengers’ property lost or damaged whilst on board. All passengers travel on board our vessels at their own risk. 5. Our heritage vessels will sail/cruise in most weather conditions and tickets will not be refunded due to rain. If, in the opinion of the vessel Master on the day/night of the sail/cruise, the wind and/or sea state is deemed unsuitable for the welfare, safety and comfort of passengers, the sail/cruise may be cancelled. Upon Sydney Heritage Fleet's cancellation of the sail/cruise, you will be entitled to book another date. If you reside outside greater Sydney or overseas and cannot book an alternative date a full refund will be given.
